Based in Braemar in the Cairngorms National Park, we offer three different experiences – vehicle tours, guided walking and whisky tastings.

Vehicle tours - Discover a landscape rich in history and folklore, with dramatic castles,
mysterious stone circles and hidden hills and glens on our driven tours. Braemar Highland Experience shows you the landscape through a local’s eye, sharing with you our passion for the history, culture and wildlife of Scotland. Or travel offroad with us on private hill roads into the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, where there’s a good chance of seeing red deer, golden eagles, red and black grouse, red squirrels and mountain hares.

Guided walking - We offer a wide variety of guided walking, at low and high level, from a couple of hours to several days in the Cairngorms and further afield. Let us introduce you to wild places with spectacular scenery, guide you up some of our mountains or walk you through the history of the area
and its flora and fauna.
Our walking routes take in some of the classic highlights of the area and they also allow you to discover lesser-known favourites from a local’s perspective. We also enjoy sharing our favourite spots
to photograph or paint off the beaten track.

Whisky experiences - Join us to find out how and why whisky has formed a bond amongst Scottish people for hundreds of years. We enjoy communicating the wider story of whisky in Scotland, its social and cultural resonance, as well as how to taste and the whisky making process.
