Wildlife Watching with Speyside Wildlife

Evening Mammal Watching - Our hide is located in the Cairngorms in a woodland setting on the edge of Pine Forest, near Aviemore. Badger are regular visitors all year round and Pine Marten can also be seen. A variety of other Scottish wildlife may visit our hide whilst it is still light, including Tawny Owls, Red Squirrels and Roe Deer. We have implemented new hygiene and social distancing regimes to comply with current viewing restrictions but can offer an evening of wildlife viewing in a comfortable hide for up to 10 guests. We shall manage each evening's bookings, to ensure we can keep guests at a safe distance, whilst ensuring that they can still see the whole of the viewing area easily. The hide can be booked on an exclusive basis if you wish to bring your own family/social bubble for the evening. If you are looking for photographic opportunities, we have a Badger photographic hide for one to two people that can be booked each night on an exclusive basis through the summer months. Guided Days Out - If you'd like a half or full day of wildlife watching in the Cairngorms National Park or a full tailor-made holiday, Speyside Wildlife can help! The Scottish Highlands is home to some iconic wildlife species but finding them can be a real challenge. Whether you are part of a family group wanting to see a broad range of Highland wildlife, or a keen birder looking for a specific and elusive species, our wildlife guides will guide you to the best locations using their expert knowledge; so whether it's Dotterel and Ptarmigan on the high tops, Capercaillie and Crested Tits in the forests, or maybe Otter and dolphin on the shoreline, tell us what you'd like to see and we can help you achieve your wildlife watching ambitions. We are following all Government health and welfare instructions and have put in place our own regimes to ensure the safety of our guides and guests. Please visit our website to book all of our wildlife experiences.
