You can see Dalnaglar Castle as you drive along the infamous 'snow roads' and getting out and about from the castle you’ll find the fabulous town of Braemar, home of the ‘Braemar Gathering’ (reputedly the best Highland Games in the world) only a 30 minute drive away. There’s fabulous tourist towns, restaurants, cafes and shops all within driving distance and Balmoral Castle is well worth a visit. In the winter months, for those looking to brush up on their ski-skills, Glenshee Snowsports Centre is just ten miles away.
