Morrone House is a beautifully restored and peaceful 4 bedroomed house. It stands in its own large, secluded garden of 1/2 acre with easy access (about 500m)at the bottom of the road to the village of Braemar in the Scottish Highlands. It is fully gas centrally-heated, and also has Jotul and Morso wood-burning stoves. It is double glazed throughout. Facing due south , it has a fully-equipped large modern kitchen with gas hobs, electric ovens, built-in fridge, freezer, all crockery and cutlery, pots and pans, kettle, coffee-maker, toaster and dish-washer. There is a spacious dining room, large double lounge with three settees(one is a Parker Knoll bed settee) and satellite TV, and has double-glazed windows looking out on magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. The lounge has a sliding patio door on the south side that opens onto a paved sitting area with table and benches. There are two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom, and a single bedroom. There are two bathrooms, one with bath and shower and one with en-suite shower shower in the twin bedroom. Water is also heated automatically by gas or electricity and so there is an endless supply of hot water for everyone to have a bath or shower . There is a spacious rear porch to hang coats and take off boots, and even an external drying room for clothes or fishing rods. We also own Morrone Cottage which can be separate, or interlinked through a connecting corridor and provides four extra beds so that we can also accommodate larger family groups or family reunions of 7 -13 people. Morrone is a home and there is basically everything there so that you can arrive and feel at home within minutes! We have ample private car-parking space in the drive and two large gardens that face south to the mountains and Glenshee on one side, and north directly to the Cairngorms on the other. We even have a private back gate that leads directly onto the moor and down to the river Dee!
