Tucked in between the edge of the forest and the Ault Mor burn, The Maltings offers seclusion for families looking for a rural retreat during your Highland holiday. Indoor Living A luxury country holiday home full of charm and original features throughout. Using heritage colours with sumptuous soft furnishings, the owner of The Maltings has given this period property the respect it deserves. A wood burning stove warms the living area, perfect for family get togethers or after a busy day outdoors. The old oat grinder sits in the bar area where a few glasses of malt wouldn't go amiss after your evening meal with the family. The dining area is a fantastic space to entertain and show off your culinary skills. Tastefully decorated and dressed in the style of the Scottish Highlands, you will be glad you chose The Maltings for your rural retreat. Outdoor Living With 2 acres of garden to explore, the family won’t be short of hiding places or seats to catch the sun with a morning cuppa or an evening tipple. A dedicated eating area with modern plush seating hosts everyone for alfresco dining, drinks or a BBQ. The Maltings has a recently renovated summerhouse from which you can take in the views, have some time away, or a place for the children to create an adventure. The ultimate in holiday treats must be the luxury hot tub from which you can enjoy this stunning location in sun, rain, wind or shine, day or night, perfect for the changeable Scottish weather. The village of Nethy Bridge is not too far away for keen walkers. Availability The Maltings is able to offer full weeks Friday to Friday or Monday to Monday, and some weekend breaks Friday to Monday, Midweeks Monday to Friday. We are delighted to welcome you to The Maltings at 4pm. Departure is required at 10am on your departure day. The property has a kitchen, dining room, 3 bedrooms, bathrooms and access to outdoors on the ground floor. Upstairs, you find the living area and bar, games and reading snug and a master bedroom. The Maltings is a 270 year old converted oat mill - now a self catering luxury lodge with a hot tub, summerhouse and large garden to explore. The property has steps to get to various levels and would not be suitable for wheelchairs. It would be accessible for prams and buggies.

Two bespoke hand built shepherd huts with fully fitted kitchen, wood burning stove, en suite shower room in a beautiful location. Coorie sleeps two people and Bothan sleeps four. We also have a off grid horsebox lorry body to give an alternative stay to our guests. October 2021 we finished our communal cookhouse allowing guests to BBQ in all weather. We are hoping to add in our third shepherds hut this year.
