Glenshee
Add to Itinerary

Glenshee is known as the Glen of the Fairies due to its magical atmosphere and it caters for year-round sports against a rugged backdrop.

Glenshee is located in a very central position in Scotland, with all of Scotland’s major cities no more than two hours’ drive away. Offering some of the highest peaks in Scotland, fertile farmland and rolling hills, the rugged landscape of this area is breath-taking.

Glenshee is home to the largest ski and snowboard area in Scotland and home to the infamous Tiger, one of the most challenging black runs around.  Glenshee also has lots of terrain – both natural and manmade - to keep all abilities happy with endless gullies, bowls, jumps and hits to explore.  On a clear day the views across the Cairngorms National Park are a sight to behold.

You’ll also find llama trekking, gin distillery tours, geocaching, stalking, shooting, fishing and golfing in the area.  But even the adrenaline junkies will be tired out after a day here and ready to flop in front of a roaring fire or grab some grub at the Spittal of Glenshee, the focal point where the four glens meet.  This is also the accommodation hub where you’ll find all manner of beds available, from treehouses to log cabins.
