Fishing

The Estate offers first class salmon and sea trout fishing opportunities on the River Dee where you will be accompanied by an experienced fishing ghillie.

Bookings can be made by calling the Estate Office on 013397 41224 or e-mailing office@invercauld.estate to check availability. The River operates a catch and release policy as part of an important package of conservation measures to improve the sustainability of the river.

Trout fishing can also be enjoyed at Loch Beannie in Glenshee. Daily, weekly and season tickets available through the Estate Office or Nat Parsons at Invereddrie Farm, Glenshee. Telephone 01250 885243. Trout fishing on the River Clunie and River Gairn can also be enjoyed at modest rates. Please call us on 013397 41224 for more information.

Red Grouse Shooting and Red Stag Stalking

Visitors from all round the world come to Invercauld to enjoy walked-up and driven red grouse shooting and stag stalking.

We have 4 beats across the Estate and have availability from time to time. We would be pleased to advise you on what we have available.

The stalking experience at Invercauld is a highlight for many people and we have guests who travel to us from all over the world to take part in this tradition of highland culture. On some beats the stags are brought home from the hill on a @garron@ or stalking pony, a wonderful sight.

All parties are accompanied by highly skilled and experienced gamekeepers.

Walking and Cycling

Invercauld looks after an incredible 385 kilometres of paths and tracks from the riverside to the tops of some of the highest mountains in the UK. Braemar Caravan Park sells a guidebook describing eight of our favourite walks around Braemar at a range of levels of difficulty. More can be found about walking and cycling on Invercauld Estate, the history of the Estate and how it is managed on our website. www.invercauld.estate
