Belnaboth East is an ideal base for exploring a wide variety of interesting and historical places, and enjoying plenty of outdoor activities. Follow the Castle Trail and the Malt Whisky Trail, visit the Lost Gallery, Alford Heritage Centre and the Grampian Transport Museum. Come for the famous Lonach Highland Gathering or the Braemar Highland Games. For the more active, there are numerous local walks as well as more strenuous walks and climbs in the Cairngorms National Park. Mountain bike trails are available nearby at the Lecht Ski Centre and Glenlivet. Or, how about a game of golf at the many courses within the Park, or a spot of fishing on the River Don.
